Beta terms

These terms apply to the Peehive iPhone app during its closed beta. Peehive is run by Keyan O’Donnell, Marco Pelle and Simone Dinato (“Peehive”, “we”). By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

This is a beta

Peehive is unfinished software that we’re testing with a small group. Features may change, break or disappear, and we may reset beta data. Unless we tell you otherwise, listings, bookings and payments are for testing: no real visit is arranged and no card is charged.

Who can join

• You must be 18 or over and invited by the Peehive team.
• One account per person. Keep your Apple account or email secure, because whoever controls it can sign in as you.
• Tell us the truth about yourself, including the gender you give for same-gender spaces.

How to behave

• Treat members and hosts with respect. We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, threats, violence and illegal activity.
• Don’t misuse Peehive: no impersonation, spam, scraping, or attempts to get around its security or limits.
• Same-gender spaces are only for members who share the host's gender.
• We review reports and may remove content or suspend or permanently ban accounts. If someone you vouched for is permanently banned, you lose the ability to vouch, though your own account stays active.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to store, display and process it to run Peehive, for as long as we keep it under the privacy policy. Don’t post other people’s private information or anything you don’t have the right to share.

Hosting

If you list a space, you’re responsible for being allowed to host it, including your lease, building rules and any permit, for keeping it safe and clean, and for describing it accurately. During the beta, listings are for testing.

Feedback

We’re grateful for your feedback. We may use your ideas to improve Peehive without owing you anything for them.

No guarantees

The beta is provided as it is, without promises that it will be available, accurate or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses or for beta data that is lost or reset. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can’t be limited, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. We can end the beta, or your access to it, at any time, and we’ll tell you first where we reasonably can.

Changes

We may update these terms as the beta changes. We’ll tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Peehive after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Italy. If you’re a consumer in the UK or the EU, you also keep the protection of the law where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.
